Weather Returns

The National Weather in Springfield said that Fordland is being monitored for another weather event; however, this time it by way of Severe Thunderstorms. They say that all of Webster County is in the slight risk category for severe weather Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Currently Fordland is on a 2 out of 5 scale for this possible severe weather. They say that Isolated strong to severe storms will be possible. The main threats that are currently being shown for these storms are winds in excess of 60 mph and quarter size hail. Make sure you have a way of receiving weather information like a weather alert radio in the event that any warnings are issued in the upcoming event.
