Democrats risk a new progressive rebellion as Biden embraces border deal
President Joe Biden is infuriated by democrats for accepting the republican border security agreement that is being drafted in the Senate. They are now becoming more vocal in their opposition to it.
The Biden administration’s handling of the Israel-Has war has sparked public demonstrations by liberal protesters for months, so this is not the only place where the departed is furious with it. Nonetheless, liberal rage is likely to flare up when the border deal is made public.
This is partially due to Senate diplomats ‘ decision to forego significant immigration concessions to the left, such as Dreamers ‘ permanent position, which effectively shifts the conversations in the GOP’s favor. Democrats are also keeping an eye on Biden as he turns to the proper and threatens to close the southern border, using the power that the still-unreleased act is expected to grant him if Republicans assist in passing it.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash ), the leader of the Progressive Caucus, said that the president would do well to keep in mind that Democrats have never been successful in turning around and thanking Republicans for their efforts. That simply is n’t going to happen.
