Winter Weather Returns
The National Weather Service reports that the extreme cold temperatures are returning to Fordland and the entire Ozarks region. They state that temperatures will drop into the single digits, with wind-chill temperatures to hit -5 to -15. We will be under a Wind Chill Advisory through Saturday afternoon.
The National Weather Service is also warning of the possibility of freezing rain moving into the area on Sunday night into Monday morning, which they say could possibly affect the Monday morning commute. Currently they say that there is a 50-50 chance that the Fordland area will have travel impacted due to the freezing rain. They inform us that the biggest effect will be just to our south in Christian County. Stay tuned and weather aware as we head into the coming weekend.
